EASTER SUNDAY

Jesus Died on the cross for us.  He took the punishment for our sins.   He has risen from the grave!  Jesus will return again!  Please ask Him into your heart & repent from your sins.  The Bible says He is faithful to his children!  The cross was given to us in church today.  The idea is to "nail your worries/fears to the Cross of Jesus!"  Have a Joyous Easter season!

Feeling like this?
The Bible says, "Give all your worries and cares to God, For He cares about what happens to YOU."
1 Peter 5:7 (NKJV)

RECYCLE WHAT?
1.  Hooks from clothes (socks, gloves) .  You can fish a string, or thin piece of yarn into the hole.  Crochet a project onto it.

These are a few of the things I recycle for my craft supplies.
2. Argo Cornstarch containers- store beads & things.

3. Twist Ties- from bread, rolls, etc.,  They can be tied around small groups of leftover yarn, tie the ends of a bag with your completed projects.
4.  Plastic Bags- anything  non-food like latex gloves, newspaper, etc.,  I put my completed projects in them & tie the end with a "twist tie."
5.  Insert from calculator tape- You can put yarn through the center hole & crochet a project, such as a small tote bag.  I would use (2).  You can also save a bunch of these & use them as large "beads."

ST PATRICK'S DAY BOW TIES & NECK TIE!

                                       HOW TO: BOW TIE/HAIR CLIP
It takes about 10 min. to do one.  I used 8 mm hook, 2 thin yarns tied together.  Do Foundation row that is 5 in. long.  Crochet until it's 1 1/2 in. wide.  Put aside.  Make a piece that is 1 in. x 2 1/2 long for the center of tie (optional:  wrap a piece of ribbon in center & attach on back).  Take the smaller piece & wrap it around the center of first one you made.  You can tie it on the back, if you let some yarn there after you Crochet.  You can also get another piece of scrap, or sew it on with a needle.  Attach a pin or clip (like ones used to clip your hair) & wear it!  This can also be worn in your hair.
HOW TO:
NECK TIE (pic. 3)
takes about 20 minutes.
8 mm hook, 2 thin yarns tied together-grn & wh.
Croc. Foundation row that is 48 in. long.  Chain 2 & turn (as usual).  I then did half dbl. Croc. 1 more row.  Put around your neck & tie several knots or a bow.

LEFTOVER YARN? VALENTINE CRAFT-EASY!
Items Needed: Bendable craft wire, craft cutters & crimper,  red yarn

Snip a large piece of wire.  Wrap yarn around end & knot it onto the wire.  Continue wrapping yarn all around the wire until you get to the end.  Knot again.  Bend wire into a heart shape.  Crimp sharp edges of wire together at the point of the heart to hold it together. Cut excess wire off.  Repeat with a smaller piece of wire.  Tie a piece of yarn onto little heart & attach it to the center of bigger heart.  Tie yarn on to big heart, & hang in a window or dry area of a porch.  The small hearts will move around as the wind circulates!  NOTE:  You can add more small hearts to this mobile, if desired.
He seldom reflects on the days of his life, because God keeps him occupied with gladness of heart.  Ecclesiastes 5:20
