Pull apart,  and crochet along the un-finished edge to the desired length.
WEAR WITH AN OPEN NECKLINE
Basic design.  Decorate with hand stitching or attach a "pin" to it!

BASKET


Close up of top stitch.

HOW:
11.50 mm hook, 1/2 dbl. croc., 3 yarns tied together.
Crochet until it's 20 in. wide x 10 in. long.  The last 4 rows you do were crocheted by hooking on, crc. 4, skip 4 stitches,  hook onto that stitch and , croc. 4, keep doing  this for last 4 rows to get it like shown above.  When you do "turn" stitch, croc. 4, instead of the usual 2.  Fold in half and connect the 2 sides.  Sew up the back with "yarn needle."  Push the inside center down to stand it up.
 You can string yarn around the top, if you want to create a "drawstring" purse.
