Starting to think about packing those Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes!  It's not too early to make things for your boxes.  If you are not familiar with this ministry, please check out my link below.
Children's booties (slide in)  These will keep those little "tootsies" protected, and still let some air in! (displayed on a "prayer shawl" made for me by a friend from a past  Bible study)

HOW I MADE THESE:
10 hook, 1/2 Dbl Croc.
I made 5in. wide rows, until I had a 7 inch long piece.
Take yarn needle and sew all the way around to gather it into a "bootie" shape for foot.  String ribbon through the yarn in 2 spots as shown above, or fish it through all along the bootie & tie at the front.

My Octo-critter has scary face? (See April 5, 2013 posts)   Okay.  I think I was trying to make it more life-like than cute!  Did you ever see a real one?  They are scary, yet a beautiful creation by God.  I am sure they have a purpose, like all life does!  I promise to make some with "cute" faces soon!~God Bless you!

PS/  If you get a chance, go to an aquarium, or zoo that has one.  It is an "awesome" experience!  I will share some of my past visits later this week.  So, check back soon!
